Do What You Do.

"Do everything without complaining
or arguing,
so that you may become
blameless and pure,
Children of God
without fault
in a crooked and depraved generation,

SHINE LIKE STARS
in the universe
as you hold out
the WORD OF LIFE..."Phil 2:14-16

A tall order.
Yet this is the image in my mind that defines holding out and speaking the Word of Life. Shining!
This dry, dry place in Arizona.  

I was repeatedly struck by how dry everything is in Arizona.
A chronically arid climate experiencing a drought. 

Even in these hostile conditions, there is flourishing plant life.   

How can these plants grow?  

What sustains them and gives them life?

They even bloom!! 

It was not the Grand Canyon that made me feel small.  

It was the flora.  

Even if your cup is only half full, watering people is still the most important thing you can do with your life.   

Bringing the Fragrance.

Holding out the Word of Life.
Letting them know that they are deeply loved by God. 

We are all wired to bring it in our own way.
