The note on Romans 2:29 explains the concept of belonging to God.
It explains the heart-words behind "circumcision of the heart"....which does not make for a great mental image:
"The true sign of belonging to God is not an outward mark on the physical body, but the regenerating power of the Holy Spirit within...."
It explains so much to hear power and work of the Holy Spirit in a heart described like that!
We often liken our faith journey to hills and valleys, peaks and lows, wilderness and oasis.
Sometimes life undoes our faith and shakes our confidence.
From feeling nothing to sensing guidance and Presence, the Spirit steadies our feet, heart and mind.... regenerates and renews our vigor, strength and joy.
