It is amazing to me that God would move different writers to use different styles to speak to the myriad of minds and hearts of the world.
Cerebral types must love John, the way writers of story must love Luke.
And if you love long run-on sentences...you are going to love Romans!!
I love the way John writes about the work of the Spirit.
John 16:5 and on....
Imagine it being read in your best Gandalf voice....
John speaks in these lovely riddlesongs, that sound like the peoples in the Lord of the Rings trilogies, sitting around a table having a great pre-epic-journey meeting. Talking.
They hear, but they don't understand....
They know the lore, the legend, the prophecies, but not yet the ending....they can't believe the ending.
